Altoids and Interrogation

Ollie has done Interrogation time for a while now but I don't think we ever got it on camera. It started when Adara was a bit smaller and her feet didn't touch his chest when she was lifted in the air. He would come home after work and ask Adara about her day but Interrogation style, with a fake rough voice and holding her above his head. It was sooo cute because she had just started talking. Every time he would ask her a question she would say "I don't know," then he would repeat, "you don't know?" Which Adara would then say "I think so." This would go on back and forth for a few minutes until Interrogation was over. So a few days ago I got an Interrogation session on camera.



One day Adara was being really quite in her room (which always means she's getting into something) so I went to check on her. She had snuck an Altoids can in there and was trying all of them in the pack. Some she had almost eaten the whole piece before going on to a new one. For the most part everyone had been sampled. So now when we have Altoids (or even if she just sees a pack) she has to have one. And she likes it...no loves it.

Computer Issues

So our hard drive on the main computer crapped out. We don't why. One minute it was fine the next *poof* well it didn't really go poof but you get the idea. A few things I'm happy that we did: have this second compy that's just as sweet as the other one only 1 year older, purchased the 3-year-super-awesome-we'll-fix-it-no-matter-what-warranty on both of the compys, and went with a Dell both times because their customer service is EXCELLENT! I'm really happy about that last one because after also having a Apple laptop and having issues with it and the customer service, it's nice to know that when you have a problem you don't have to go on this major run around to get it fixed (that's just our experience and my opinion, I've had better help from Apple with a different computer in a different area).

OK, the point of mentioning all that is to say we have great pictures from Adara's birthday weekend but I haven't loaded them onto the other computer (because of the hard drive crap-out) or this one yet because I'd rather have them all one one computer and it just seems like a lot of trouble to load them on this one and then have to do it in a few days on the other again, when in reality it's not very hard at all and I'm just procrastinating so maybe I should go load them on here now...

Busy Weekend

Well this coming weekend (starting tomorrow) is going to be insane! Tomorrow we're going to have Adara's pictures done for Easter and her birthday, Ollie and I are even getting in on it so we can have another professional family picture. Then, Saturday is Adara's 2nd birthday...I'm not sure how I feel about this yet...

• For one I'm sad that my little baby really isn't a baby anymore (although to me she always will be).
• For two I'm excited because she is becoming such a beautiful, smart, funny girl.
• For three I'm scared because she most definitely is hitting the "Trying Two's," I'm not using the other "T" word, and I know that's it's going to be tough on all of us.

I guess for the most part though I'm just excited. Finally on Sunday we're going over to Grandpa Scott and Nana Jules' house for her party. So expect a lot of pictures over the next few days...hopefully.

Big Things

Yay us!! We finally got our new bed and we are soooo happy. Next we're going to get the headboard piece that goes...behind the...headboard...ok well that may not make much sense but it's really cool. It's like a shelf thing that goes behind the headboard and has 2 bedside tables that you can pull out to use or push in to hide. It's awesome! So here's some pictures of the bed and us enjoying it.

Easter Preview

We got Adara's Easter outfit today, and let me just say I LOVE having a daughter!! She is so adorable in this dress. It turned out to be the perfect one for her it's simple and comfortable yet absolutly beautiful. We plan on taking her to have pictures taken for Easter/Birthday again this year and I'm hoping to take her out to the park on a little mommy-style photo shoot of my own (we'll see).
